Remote Viewing Places: Mecca
The Task: Remote view the city of Mecca
The Cue: Describe the topography of the site and the most important aspects of this location.
I was semi-frontloaded because I knew that I was remote viewing a place, but I was “blind to the task” (I did not know what it was).
Mecca is an ancient city in Saudi Arabia. It is considered to be the holiest city of the Islamic world, the birthplace of Muhammad and the site of the revelation of the Koran. In the 6 century BC, it was one of the main centers of the ancient spice trades. Every year during Hajj period, the city’s population triples with Muslim pilgrims visiting the Kaaba, the cube-shaped building in the center of Mecca, and other holy sites in the city.
In this session, I explored remote viewing places and locations. My objective was to perceive some recognizable feature at the site, and to find some purpose or function of the locations either natural or manmade. Per the cue, my task was to describe the City of Mecca. Throughout the session I was continually drawn to a very large pointed structure that stuck out in the landscape, and that the location was old and had changed in its purpose over time. I had the ideas of trade and people moving through this location and in addition, that the location is a destination point for many people.
